RAPTEE RAISES $3 MILLION IN PRE SERIES A ROUND

In a pre-Series A round led by deeptech venture capital fund Bluehill Capital, we raised $3 million funds which will be utilized to upgrade the manufacturing facility, acquire machinery and tooling for our to-be-launched motorcycle, and to scale up the team.

INAUGURATION OF OUR E-MOBILITY FACTORY

We inaugurated our E-Mobility factory, which has an annual capacity of 1 lakh units. The presence of our team's families at the inauguration made it a truly special day for us. This state-of-the-art facility will soon begin production and serve as our production plant for the next 24 months.

The panel discussion shed light on how the India-USA trade connect is positioning itself as a leader from various industrial sectors and how the infrastructure and investment landscape are highlighting opportunities for companies and investors

RAPTEE WAS MENTIONED IN A FORBES ARTICLE FOR THE SECOND TIME!

“When you look at the two-wheeler market in China and India,” suggests Dinesh Arjun, founder and CEO of India-based Raptee, “they are significantly different. In China, they are point-A-to-point-B and extremely utility-driven … with maximum speeds of 30 kph (19mph). More importantly, these vehicles are not expected to last a very long time; usually anywhere between 1.5 and 2.5 years.”

We we were honored to be a panel member of "Automotive, EV and Smart Mobility Forum ('23-'24). Over the course of the year, we will be working towards promoting Startups in the sector, encouraging open innovation, industry specific support system, access to incubation and mentorship, access to market, investment and establishing common facility centres here in Tamil Nadu.

CEO-MINISTERIAL ROUNDTABLE: TN & WEF- A SPEAKER OPPORTUNITY AMONG 20 LEADING AUTOMOTIVE MANUFACTURERS IN INDIA

Guidance Tamil Nadu along with World Economic Forum had organized a CEO - Ministerial Dialogue.Our CEO was to invited to speak among CEOs of 20 leading automotive manufacturers in the country. He had an insightful discussion with The Hon'ble Minister for Industries, Investment Promotion & Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu Mr.T.R.B.Rajaa to boost investments in the electric mobility and battery ecosystem.

AN ARTICLE ABOUT RAPTEE AND ITS FOUNDERS IN MOBILITY OUTLOOK

The Raptee story began in 2018 when four engineers from Chennai — Dinesh, Keerthivasan, Karthikeyan and Phunith who had earlier worked in Tesla and Wipro — decided to develop an e-motorcycle. Karthikeyan and Keerthivasan were juniors to Dinesh at MIT, Chennai, and had worked on many projects together as well as participated in a host of competitions.
